• Can I have new shirt/shorts/socks/ball etc?

• Why did my kid not play for most of the game?

Coaches decision, not all players are guaranteed a game

• Why don't we get the fixtures in advance?

This is down to the league who issue monthly at best

• Do you have to pay for pitches for matches or even to train on?

Yes up to £95 per match and £72 for just one hours training

• Will the game still be on ?

Usually when it is raining! coach will advise if match off.

• Why is my child not in the A team?

Coaches decision, based on ability and commitment

• Why can't we pay weekly?

Impractical for managers to collect £3.27 per week off 30 teams of 15/20 kids.

• Why can't we pay in installments?

When we tried this system it caused too much ill feeling and a huge administration burden, we prefer to concentrate on football, not money.

• Why can't players wear hats and trousers in winter?

League rules forbid it.

• Why can't we have more training sessions?

Lack of facilities and the cost. We pay from £20 -72 per hour for venues and they are very limited at the key times.

• Are the kids covered by Insurance?

Yes every player REGISTERED TO THE CLUB is covered, casual players are NOT which is why we must insist anyone playing for us is formally registered to the Club.

• Do we own the kit? or does the kit remains the property of the club

• How do I join the Hampstead Academy?

See the web site for contacts we accept kids from 4 upwards but they must pre book in line with our Insurance demands.

• Do you run Girls teams?

Yes, see web site.

• Are you an FA Charter Status Club?

Yes one of the few in the London area.

• Is Hampstead FC affiliated to a County FA's?

Yes the Middlesex FA and the London FA.

• When do you hold trials?

Usually June but the Academy system is now in it's second year and nearly 70 players have graduated through this programme into the teams.
