Hampstead Sports Services launched 2007 with one objective in mind. To provide high quality organised sport for all. Statistics show that individuals that compete in sport lessen the risk of many illness's and statistics show that children involved in competitive sport are less likely to be involved in anti social activities due to the life skills that are required to participate in team sports.
HSS staff have a number of years experience in organising sports events and have established a portfolio of contacts in order to achieve every requirement of the customer.

Mike Powell
Club Manager and Director of Football
Mike joined the club at the end of 2004. He has two soccer mad sons and together they had been researching competitive football for a number of months before approaching Hampstead FC.
"The overall quality and commitment to the players, club officials and parents, convinced me this was a well run Club with a professional attitude. There are lots of "soccer schools" but finding a club is very difficult"
Mike's business background encompasses marketing and management.
At the age of 13 he ran an 11 a side team as manager, coach and secretary, often walking several miles from door to door on a Thursday evening, to make sure the players knew about the weekend game.
Today's communication world is somewhat different but it still takes the dedication of certain individuals to make it all work.
Mike is the manager of our ever growing Academy and welcomes enquiries regarding any aspect of the Club or Academy.

Diane Culligan
Director
Prior to becoming Chair of Hampstead FC, Diane was the Vice and was responsible for implementing the Committee of season 2004/06's three major objectives. They were:
1. For the club to achieve FA charter status
2. Obtain a Football Foundation grant and
3. Establish a Girls Division within the Club.
All these were achieved and Diane took on the role of pioneering the burgeoning Club into the following season. She became involved in the Club through her son, who currently plays in the u12's team, when he was selected to play for the u10s a couple of seasons ago.
She currently runs the u13s girls team, who are lying 2nd in their league and have a excellent chance of being crowned Champions who in their first season of competitive football.
She has always lived in Camden and this part of the borough - a native of Hampstead. She has a FA qualification in football coaching and played a lot when younger. She is currently taking her refereeing badge. She ran a football club at a local school for a number of years, which was taken over by Eddie Lester, our founder and honorary Chairman, after the birth of her third son.
She is a long term and passionate supporter of football generally and believes that with youth football, there are many positive benefits for the children in a well run club. She is determined to oversee the steady controlled growth of the club, widening its doors to all.
